Carbide cutting heads on chemical removal tools

Chemical method is used to make the cutting heads of various copper-welded cemented carbide tools fall off, which can recover the cemented carbide scrap cutting heads and make the tool rod re-welded with new cemented carbide cutting heads for reuse.

Except the preparation of copper liquid: chromic anhydride (Cr2O3) (300-350) g/L, phosphoric acid (H3PO4) (70-85) g/L, the rest is water.

Process method: Kerosene is used to soak the scrap copper-welded tool for about 1 hour to remove the grease from the tool. After removing oil stains, the tool is put into a trough with copper removing liquid and heated to (70-80). After two or three days, the carbide cutter head on the tool rod is removed from the cutter body. The length of soaking time is treated differently depending on the size of the tool. Take out the tool rod and blade, put in the cold water tank to wash the chromic anhydride clean, the tool rod can continue to weld the knife head use.
